Une marie-salope, c’est un bateau destiné à transporter en haute mer les vases et les sables qui obstruent les ports. Un Marie salope, c’est quelqu’un qui n’arrive pas à revenir sur ses pas, c’est Claude, un Ulysse contemporain égaré entre deux continents, un homme dont la conscience charrie le poids et la responsabilité d’un drame maritime auquel il a survécu. « quoi / tu veux que quelqu’un t’entende / tu veux quelqu’un », dit Raymonde, « bien sûr / c’est trop / pleurer seul parler tout seul / alors à qui / à qui parler claude / les descendants les naufragés raymonde / y a personne / personne / pas de maison / personne qui attend / que les lacs et les arbres / alors reviens marche claude / avec ta larme à l’œil qui coule parle / ça va revenir / à force tu sauras où ». A travers une écriture à la fois luxuriante et extrêmement tenue, l’auteur Jean-Paul Quéinnec traverse le destin de ce migrant à la recherche d’un point d’ancrage dans le monde. La lecture de ce texte d’une grande exigence (publié aux Editions Quartett) fait surgir des images et des sensations qui s’entremêlent pour former de beaux mouvements poétiques.
Revenir et parler des naufrages
Ces mouvements ne naissent que par bribes lors du spectacle que présente actuellement Antoine Caubet au Théâtre de l’Aquarium. Après la remarquable version de Partage de midi qu’il a signée la saison dernière au sein du même théâtre*, le metteur en scène s’empare de la pièce de Jean-Paul Quéinnec avec beaucoup moins de réussite. Investie par Cécile Cholet et Christian Jéhanin, Un Marie salope, Rafiot pour odyssée ciel terre mer peine ici à révéler toute la singularité des tableaux qui la composent. Comme si les comédiens ne parvenaient pas à nous immerger dans les belles perspectives des ces réminiscences intimes, comme si eux-mêmes restaient à distance, en-dehors de la matière vive de cette écriture. Ainsi, très vite, le spectacle s’essouffle, s’enfermant dans une forme de ronronnement que vient encore appuyer la scénographie ornementale d’Isabelle Rousseau. Au final, ce rendez-vous scénique avec le poème dramatique de Jean-Paul Quéinnec laisse une impression d’inaccompli. Une impression rejoignant l’idée d’un rafiot qui, au lieu de s’élancer dans une traversée aventureuse, serait resté à quai.
