L’œuvre de Robert Walser et sa propension à la mélancolie est assez régulièrement portée à la scène. Aujourd’hui, sous l’initiative de Marie-José Malis, forte de sa nouvelle création, Un Orage se dit bien beau, ici, un aspect inconnu de l’auteur suisse est mis au jour, sa pratique de la marche au gré des rêveries d’un nouveau promeneur solitaire. C’est par le truchement de cet exercice physique que Walser trouve un accommodement au fardeau du réel. En ce début du vingtième siècle, Walser prospecte rêves et chemins pierreux aux confins de la Suisse et du Jura, en marchant d’abondance sur les pentes escarpées. Une façon d’écrire ses promenades, entre jours simples, petits plaisirs – un dîner rustique dans une auberge – et effluves d’inquiétude quant à sa présence au monde. Marie-José Malis invite le public à vagabonder dans le sillage de Robert Walser, en compagnie de quatre comédiens, Pascal Batigne, Victor Ponomarev, Olivier Horeau et Catherine Semat. La randonnée est ainsi perçue comme une esthétique de la quête de soi-même. À explorer.
