Après l’immense succès de Que ma joie demeure, on attendait la
nouvelle création de Béatrice Massin avec curiosité. La chorégraphe a choisi de
prendre le contre-pied de sa précédente pièce, en préférant la douce et
vaporeuse ambiance d’un salon où l’on reste entre soi aux débordements baroques
de musique, de couleurs, et de danse. C’est le Voyage d’hiver de Schubert
qui est au centre de la pièce, et qui permet à Béatrice Massin de faire un pont
entre la période baroque et la période préromantique. En sautant ce pas, elle
choisit de mettre en avant le baryton et le pianiste, qui fait lui-même son
voyage sur une plate-forme évoluant au gré de la pièce. Dans ce récital, la
danse est souvent mise en attente, les interprètes écoutent et se lèvent comme
pour se détendre et offrir enfin un intermède. Dans cette atmosphère tout en
nuances et flottements, c’est dans l’entre-deux qu’il faut se glisser pour mieux
entrer dans ce salon.
