L’auteur et interprète Bruno Buijtenhuijs s’est lancé dans une Drôle de jam dont le principe consiste à revisiter quelques grands classiques du jazz piochés dans différentes époques et à les transformer en chansons humoristiques dans la langue de Molière. Renouant avec l’esprit du Saint-Germain-des-Prés d’antan, Drôle de jam déroule au rythme des guitares swing la malice de Boris Vian, des frères Jacques et autres Prévert. Dans un esprit cabaret, le spectacle dont les paroles sont ciselées pour épouser les contours parfois tortueux des standards, met en scène deux chanteuses, Julie Costanza et Rachel Pignot, qui rivalisent de drôlerie et d’élégance, au service de textes facétieux qui virent parfois au gag. Deux guitares — dont une soliste, tenue par Geoffroy Boizard, qui fait des étincelles — lui donnent sa couleur et son assise musicale.
