Suite aux révélations d’une voyante, un jeune homme, interprété par Nikola Carton, se met en tête qu’il est la réincarnation d’Oscar Wilde. Afin de se rapprocher du personnage, il adopte son style vestimentaire, ses airs de dandy, et se familiarise avec son œuvre. Endosser le costume d’un autre lui permet de retrouver une certaine estime de lui, de l’importance. Cette identification poussée à l’extrême porte à sourire tout en signifiant le malaise identitaire de la jeunesse actuelle. Une fable sans importance est accompagnée au piano par Charles Decroix qui joue ses propres compositions. Dans une ambiance de cabaret où théâtre et musique se mêlent joyeusement, la mise en scène de Clémence Weill suscite de fécondes interactions entre interprètes et spectateurs. Et pour finir, nous espérons que le théâtre du Lierre apprécié de son public fidèle trouvera une solution pour continuer à exister.
