Théâtre Transversal / texte et mise en scène Eloïse Mercier
Une jeune femme s’exile à Saigon et doit s’adapter à un nouvel environnement, un nouveau langage, à l’air dense et humide, à l’agitation électrique de la ville et aux rencontres qui la transforment. Partant du réel, et notamment de sons enregistrés au Vietnam, et de l’imaginaire, en s’inspirant des représentations et des fantasmes autour de ce pays, Eloïse Mercier compose et interprète une forme théâtrale sonore, avec des accessoires en miniature et un imaginaire de pluie. Le spectacle « parle donc de transformation, de désir et d’altérité. L’histoire d’un territoire – intime ou lointain – qui change, mue, se laisse entamer, au son de la mousson qui submerge tout et fait déborder les frontières de nos identités. », dit Eloïse Mercier, qui s’inspire des romans de Marguerite Duras, des films populaires sur la guerre du Vietnam et de la modernité orageuse pour composer une œuvre immersive et sensorielle originale.
