Théâtre de l’Oulle /de Henrik Ibsen / mes Philippe Person
Philippe Person, qui a dirigé le Théâtre du Lucernaire à Paris de 2009 à 2015, s’attaque à la plus connue des pièces d’Ibsen : Une maison de poupée. Pour aborder le drame vécu par Torvald et son épouse Nora, menacée par un maître chanteur de révéler ses faux en écriture, le metteur en scène resserre la focale sur quatre personnages seulement et choisit notamment de « suivre Nora, ses pensées et ses actes, comme un plan-séquence au cinéma. (…) Comme un film pourrait passer de la couleur au noir et blanc, dès le deuxième acte, les ambiances deviendront pesantes puis angoissantes. » L’hommage au maître du suspense est revendiqué : « Alfred Hitchcock aurait pu filmer Nora. », écrit Philippe Person dans sa note d’intention. Comme dans Fenêtre sur cour, une atmosphère de plus en plus pesante s’immisce au sein de cette maison de poupée où les apparences se défont peu à peu, jusqu’à ce que Nora, interprétée par Florence Le Corre, finisse par accéder à la liberté sous les yeux de Torvald (Philippe Calvario).
