Charlotte Delbo, ancienne assistante de Louis Jouvet, résistante, est arrêtée en 1942, avec son mari Georges Dudach, qui sera fusillé trois semaines plus tard. Elle est déportée en 1943 à Auschwitz en compagnie de 230 femmes. Dans la trilogie Auschwitz et après, un texte protéiforme et distancié, elle retrace son incessant combat pour la survie. Dans Une minute encore, Thomas Germaine choisit de porter l’écriture arythmique et polyphonique de l’auteure dans un épuisant monologue qu’il mène en courant sur un tapis roulant. Une course, une fuite, un élan, une expérience théâtrale en deux parties – ombre et lumière – qui recompose la chronologie des événements en une dramaturgie de la lutte pour le vivant. De la rue du Départ au retour à Paris, en passant par la représentation du Malade imaginaire à Auschwitz, au milieu de l’âcre odeur des cheminées, la proposition de Thomas Germaine est de témoigner, sans incarner, d’une réalité indicible et inconcevable, que la fuite des mots tente de fixer.
