THEÂTRE DES CHAMPS-ELYSEES / OPERA MIS EN SCENE
Les incursions des cinéastes dans le genre lyrique ne sont pas nouvelles : hier, Luchino Visconti, aujourd’hui Michael Haneke, tandis que l’œuvre de certains mêle résolument les arts, à l’exemple de Kirill Serebrennikov. Avec ses comédies aux allures de parcours initiatique au milieu des hasards de la vie, à l’exemple de sa trilogie autour des aventures de Xavier Rousseau (Romain Duris à l’écran) et ses amis, Cédric Klapisch ne pouvait trouver mieux pour son premier opéra que La Flûte enchantée, avec ses alchimies de comique et de symboles, vulgarisant les idéaux des Lumières – et de la franc-maçonnerie. Sa relecture de la fantaisie de Schikaneder – et de Mozart – sera relayée par François-Xavier Roth et son orchestre Les Siècles, en résidence artistique au Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, face à un plateau qui met à l’honneur quelques figures de la relève du chant français, parmi lesquelles on compte Catherine Trottmann, qui incarnera Papagena aux côtés du Papageno de Florian Sempey, ou Cyrille Dubois en Tamino.
