« Elle est psychanalyste, très professionnelle, intègre et impliquée. Seulement voilà : à l’approche de la cinquantaine, les hommes ont déserté sa vie et son cabinet. Elle doit donc gérer seule l’éducation d’ados en mal de vivre, alors que ses patientes viennent déverser leurs douleurs et autres névroses à longueur de journée… De quoi vaciller… Et elle vacille…. PSYcause(s) parle de la difficulté de vieillir dans une société où séduction rime avec jeunesse, de la fragilité des pauvres humains que nous sommes. Qu’est-ce qui fait qu’un petit grain de sable va tout à coup enrayer la machine et nous faire passer de l’autre côté ? Quelles sont les "causes" qui nous font basculer dans les "psychoses" ? A travers ce spectacle, je m’amuse à écorner l’image du psy solide, infaillible, trônant sur un piédestal de savoirs et de connaissances… Car les psys sont des êtres humains comme vous et moi : ils ne sont pas à l’abri du dérapage.
Un examen de la psyché féminine
Ce spectacle est donc en permanence dans un "effet miroir", il s’agit d’une sorte de ballet chorégraphié où psy et patientes se renvoient leurs détresses en écho. Personne n’a juste ou faux. PSYcause(s) est un prétexte à ausculter la psyché féminine au plus près de sa vérité. Je parle des femmes avec compassion et, je l’espère, avec justesse. Je les connais bien. Ce sont mes sœurs. J’aime leur courage, leur détermination, l’audace qui les pousse à se remettre en question et aller s’allonger sur le divan d’un psy pour avancer. Et je parle d’elles, aussi, avec humour. J’ai toujours pratiqué l’humour noir dans mes spectacles : histoire de nature ! Même si les sujets sont graves, voire "trash" parfois, j’adore travailler "sur le fil", c’est-à-dire pousser l’horreur de la situation ou du mot assez loin pour que le spectateur ait besoin du rire comme exutoire. Selon la sensibilité ou le vécu de chacun, le côté "borderline" de mes personnages appelle le rire ou l’émotion. Chacun puise en soi ce qu’il veut ou ce qu’il peut ! »
