Studio Casanova / mes et scénographie Benjamin Porée
Lors de la première mise en scène de l’œuvre incandescente de Rimbaud en 2006, le metteur en scène Benjamin Porée avait à peine vingt ans et le comédien Mathieu Dessertine dix-huit ans. Ils s’y engagèrent corps et âme, avec une énergie frontale et une force immense. Ils jouèrent à Avignon, et l’œuvre fut remarquée. Six ans plus tard, ils reprennent à nouveau les répétitions pour une recréation. « Nous prenons le texte brut et nous le confrontons à l’acteur Matthieu aujourd’hui. Cela change tout. Nous tentons de dire que le texte raconte des choses très concrètes sur l’individu, l’homme et la place de chacun dans la société. » confie Benjamin Porée. L’adresse au public, très travaillée, évolue au fil du spectacle et souligne la théâtralité du texte. Nu, seul en scène, Mathieu Dessertine interprète l’imprécation déchirante du poète.
