Il s’appelle Adrien Lepage. Beaucoup le considèrent comme un attardé, comme un être inadapté au monde. Pourtant, ce gamin « à mi-chemin entre Forest Gump et Billy Elliot » est simplement différent. Il nourrit une passion défendue pour la batterie. Auteur et interprète de ce seul-en-scène percussif, Cédric Chapuis a souhaité que « l’innocence et l’enthousiasme de ce personnage fassent rire, surprennent puis émeuvent tour à tour ». « A travers l’histoire d’une passion, déclare-t-il, [j’ai voulu] raconter toutes les passions. A travers l’histoire d’une vie, [j’ai voulu] appeler à la tolérance et une fois de plus, faire de la vie un feu d’artifice émotionnel. » Parcours d’un être solitaire qui va se dépasser pour aller à la rencontre des autres, Une Vie sur mesure nous ouvre les portes d’une existence bigarrée. Une existence traversée par « la fougue, la peur, l’amour, le bonheur, la terreur, le suspense, l’humour, la poésie, la liberté… ».
