Théâtre des Abbesses Chorégraphie Georges Appaix
Cela fait dix ans que Georges Appaix n’était pas revenu au Théâtre de la Ville. Avec cette pièce, il ne sort pas des sentiers battus de son écriture, toujours prise au jeu des mots, sons, ou onomatopées, dans l’élan d’une danse faite de marches, de courses, de sauts libres et fluides. Au contraire, il met tout en œuvre pour creuser plus encore la notion d’écriture, mais cette fois-ci prise au pied de la lettre. Il s’agit ici d’en remonter les sources, d’en traverser l’histoire, que ce soit celle des écritures anciennes ou latines et contemporaines. De simples objets ou des vidéoprojections deviennent le support d’une multitude de calligraphies.
Des lettres et des mots
A côté de cet alphabet, distillé dans la fantaisie, six danseurs, dont Georges Appaix, mettent en rythme, en voix, en mots et en chœur les mêmes notions. Cette danse simple, débarrassée de toute fioriture, et pourtant incroyablement jubilatoire, accueille donc les textes écrits par les danseurs, mais aussi des textes de Deleuze, Duras, de Heinz Wisman ou Ghérasim Luca. La bande son – savant mélange d’extraits de Léo Férré, Beethoven, Souchon, Gainsbourg, Boris Vian… -invite des maîtres des mots ou de la composition à se frayer un chemin dans cet Univers Light Oblique.
