Entouré de quatre musiciens et deux danseurs, le chorégraphe marie gestuelle contemporaine et katak traditionnel avec précision pour conter l’histoire de Amba, princesse mythique qui, raflée le jour de ses noces, privée de son honneur, réclame vengeance. A travers ce récit dansé, Until the lions explore aussi « la notion et l’expression physique du genre et de tout ce qu’il trimballe – questions que nous sommes trop souvent découragés d’explorer et de discuter dans la société asiatique du Sud. ».
