Valère Novarina est le poète luciférien d’un verbe protéiforme, d’avant le temps, quand le logos n’était pas seulement la racine du rationnel. Il parle la langue imprononçable et matricielle, celle du tétragramme terrible et fulgurant, celle des associations audacieuses, des élisions osées, des viols consentis et jouissifs de la syntaxe. Pourtant, dans la paradoxale alliance de l’éternité et de l’écoulement, il parle aussi de l’époque et des hommes qui l’habitent. Ses textes sont loin d’un discours désincarné et il n’y a pas plus charnels que les mots qu’il invente et pas plus sensuelle que la langue qui est la sienne. Loin des logorrhées et des logomachies que nous impose la modernité qui s’embourbe dans l’insensé, Valère Novarina œuvre avec la justesse de son verbe et sa parole d’intelligence, jubilatoire et insolente.
Le théâtre d’un inventeur
Parole essentielle, donc, dans la mesure où elle fonde, au-delà du verbe, son sens même. Pour vaincre Python, c’est cette langue qu’Apollon dut sans doute employer. Sur scène comme dans l’espace sacré du sacrifice, pour y permettre l’exploration de l’homme, de l’homme des mots, de l’homme social que son enveloppe cérémonieuse met trop souvent à l’abri d’une telle mise à nu, surgit la criante vérité que Novarina dévoile : il n’y a pas de profondeur hors de la surface, et ce qui se déplie est aussi ce qui se déploie, comme s’exposent les toiles qu’il peint et qu’on retrouvera dans un projet inédit, Le Vrai sang dont il dirigera la création mondiale à l’Odéon. Créateur d’une lumière inédite et originale qui raille les ténèbres, coupe le souffle comme un maelström, ressuscite le logos en sa force poétique, le travail absolu de Valère Novarina apparaît comme un génial remède à la logopathie ambiante.
