« Entre deux êtres géographiquement, philosophiquement, historiquement, économiquement éloignés, le plus qu’il est possible de l’être, Hiroshima sera le terrain commun (le seul au monde peut-être ?) où les données universelles de l’érotisme, de l’amour et du malheur, apparaîtront sous une lumière implacable » explique Marguerite Duras. Une fulgurante et splendide histoire rendue célèbre par les mots et l’image (fabuleux visages…). C’est avec Hiroshima mon Amour que Patrice Douchet a inauguré en 1998 un cycle de créations consacrées à Marguerite Duras telles Savannah Bay, La Musica Deuxième, Moderato Cantabile et Le Ravissement de Lol V. Stein. Douze ans plus tard, il recrée ce spectacle avec Dominique Journet Ramel, qui faisait partie de l’équipe initiale avec Marie Landais et Gilles Dao, tragiquement disparus. En cette année 2014 où l’on célèbre le centenaire de la naissance de Duras, Patrice Douchet fait à nouveau et différemment entendre cette œuvre, hommage au texte, au film d’Alain Resnais et à la mémoire singulière et intime qui lie les artistes à sa création scénique.
