« Le bonheur est une fiction, il n’est enviable que s’il est jalousé. », dit Clément Poirée à propos de la farce noire imaginée par Hanokh Levin. Monsieur et Madame Boubel et leur fille, Fogra, installés dans l’euphorie de leur confort petit bourgeois, hébergent H, qui, en parfait parasite, fait office de repoussoir aux Boubel et de faire-valoir à leur béatitude. Mais le jour où Fogra, que le pique-assiette aime en secret, décide de se marier, H, « par un geste dérisoire et farfelu, va bouleverser l’équilibre de ce microcosme, composé d’êtres atteints de médiocrité aiguë ». Clément Poirée choisit un théâtre burlesque et expressionniste pour traiter cette farce délirante et grinçante, qui « met en lumière l’étrange rapport d’interdépendance qu’entretiennent les heureux du monde avec les humiliés ».
