Pièce chorale disséquant les prémisses du pire, Vienne 1913 nous plonge dans l’atmosphère paradoxale d’une extraordinaire effervescence intellectuelle où la bête immonde s’apprête pourtant à triompher. Conçue d’après le texte du psychiatre et dramaturge Alain Didier-Weill, la pièce confronte et entrelace les parcours du jeune Hitler et de l’aristocrate Hugo Von Klast, au fil d’une musique où les sons d’instruments de verre se mêlent à quelques notes viennoises. De quoi méditer sur le basculement dans la haine. Avec sept interprètes sur le plateau, dont l’artiste flamenco Luis de la Carrasca et la chanteuse lyrique Magali Paliès, Carmen Flamenco entrelace le Duende et le Cante Jondo du flamenco, la majesté du chant lyrique, les mouvements de la danse et le récit implacable, conté par Don José du fond de sa prison. Une manière inédite de redécouvrir le destin tragique de la flamboyante andalouse.
