Avec comme point de départ le livret de Puccini, cette création plurimédia vise à « interroger la notion de démon dans l’invention artistique », selon Vincent Courtois. Il y est surtout question d’improvisation, mais aussi de rencontres avec tout type de publics lors d’ateliers préparatoires (prison, lycée, foyer…), où sont glanés des sons, des idées, réinjectés sur scène. En clair, plus qu’une création figée, il s’agit d’un work in progress qui trouvera sa première résolution lors de ces trois jours. Les dix musiciens qui l’accompagnent pour ce périple créatif se retrouveront dans deux quintettes différents, autour du même répertoire, sans oublier les mots du poète Pierre Baux, les sons d’Hélène Cœur et les photos de Tina Merandon. Sans compter que tout un chacun pourra assister et participer aux répétitions publiques, le mercredi.
