Il y a cinq comédiennes. Certaines sont « très filles », certaines « très garçons ». Un point commun cependant : elles ont toutes été influencées par le monde et ses prismes, notamment celui de la virilité sur lequel s’est penchée Marie Mahé. Capucine (Capucine Gourmelon), Garance (Ilyes Hammadi Chassin), Justine (Déborah Dozoul), Mégane (Mégane Ferrat) et Sofia (Sofia Harmouni) sont alors cinq représentantes à nous transmettre leur vision de la femme et de leurs rapports aux hommes. Comme dans ADN, création qui présentait en fond de scène La Création d’Adam, une œuvre picturale habille le fond du plateau – le Patrocle de Jacques-Louis David.
Cinq témoignages pour une infinité de possibles
« Dans Viril(e.s), je parle de ma génération telle que je la vois » indique Marie Mahé. Jeune metteuse en scène sortie de l’ESAD en 2017, elle s’attache à transmettre dans ses pièces un regard neuf sur le monde, en tenant compte des préoccupations nouvelles de nos sociétés. Ainsi, Viril(e.s) est issu de témoignages réels, vécus, analysés. Au fond, une question : virilité et féminité sont-ils compatibles ? Nos cinq représentantes se font porte-paroles de ce questionnement ô combien difficile. Viril(e.s) est une pièce sur la jeunesse et ses interrogations.
