Le premier de ces trois programmes est marqué par la création française de l’ambitieux triptyque Registre des lumières (Le Temps des origines, Le Temps des premiers hommes et Le Temps des civilisations) que son compositeur Raphaël Cendo (né en 1975) décrit en toute simplicité comme « un voyage dans le temps commençant au début de l’univers jusqu’à aujourd’hui. Des origines du cosmos jusqu’à nous, la pièce se veut une réflexion sur notre place dans l’univers, notre rapport à l’autre et à cette force inexorable qui nous pousse à repousser les limites du possible » (le 14 à 20h avec l’Ensemble musikFabrik dirigé par Marcus Creed). Le lendemain, sous le titre « PianoKosmos » le pianiste Stephanos Thomopoulos en collaboration avec Tal Isaac Hada (installation vidéo) réunit des extraits du Mikrokosmos de Bartok composé en 1940 et le Makrokosmos de George Crumb né 33 ans plus tard (le 15 à 15h). Enfin de jeunes pianistes encore en formation proposeront dans le cadre d’un prometteur concert-rencontre intitulé « Univers parallèles » une série de dix créations mondiales de compositeurs parmi les plus importants de notre temps, de Dufourt à Stroppa, de Kurtag à Rihm, de Mantovani à Manoury (le 18 à 20h).
