C’est sur le tableau d’une société paysanne figée que s’ouvre Vive la vie. Codes relationnels et vestimentaires, attachement à la terre… Sur une musique originale composée par André Pignat et Johanna Rittiner-Sermier, la dizaine d’interprètes de la pièce créée par la Cie Interface donne à voir en quelques minutes le quotidien du début du XXème siècle. D’emblée, plusieurs disciplines sont sollicitées. Le théâtre, la musique, la danse ou encore le cirque qui, ensemble, ouvrent une épopée qui traverse un siècle d’Histoire. Un siècle bouleversé non seulement par les guerres, mais aussi par le développement de la technologie. Pour le meilleur et pour le pire.
De l’ampoule à l’écran
Vive la vie s’arrête sur plusieurs événements qui marquent une évolution dans les modes de vie. Dans les foyers surtout, dont plusieurs inventions bouleversent les habitudes. Un épisode du spectacle est ainsi consacré à l’arrivée de l’ampoule électrique dans la vie de tous les jours. Puis on parcourt vingt ans, et l’on assiste à des changements de mentalités. À un ensemble de petites révolutions techniques qui libèrent la femme de ses tâches et qui transforment les rapports entre les générations. Jusqu’à l’apparition de l’ordinateur, qui accentue les distances mais créée aussi de nouveaux liens. De nouvelles manières d’être ensemble.
