CREATION / NOUVEAU THEATRE DE MONTREUIL
Décidément, Faust est à l’honneur en cette rentrée musicale. Après le spectacle de Bob Wilson présenté au Châtelet en septembre, voilà Votre Faust, un opéra participatif du compositeur Henri Pousseur, où histoire et musique varient en fonction du choix du public. Après Schumann et Gounod, c’est une façon originale de revisiter le mythe de l’homme qui vend son âme au diable en mettant le public dans la position de Faust. Qu’allez-vous décider ? Happy end ? Tragédie ? Pur divertissement ? Créée sans succès à Milan en 1969, la partition a été revisitée en 1981. C’est cette version qui sera donnée pour la première fois en France dans la mise en scène d’Alénior Dauchez. On fait confiance à l’ensemble TM+ et à son directeur musical Laurent Cuniot pour attirer le succès. Et quel bel hommage à l’auteur du livret : un certain Michel Butor, qui nous a quittés en août dernier…
