Petite confidence : mes enfants adorent Bouli Miro. Lorsqu’ils ont terminé ce texte, ils m’ont demandé dans quel théâtre ils pouvaient le rencontrer. Rien à l’horizon au moment de cette demande ( et pourtant le texte a été monté plusieurs fois). Et là voici que le théâtre des Abbesses propose une place d’honneur au personnage, fils de Daddi Rotondo et Mama Binocla, et fou amoureux de sa cousine Petula. Quelle brillante idée ! Ce n’est pas le premier épisode, ni le second, Bouli redéboule, mais le troisième volet des aventures de ce gamin dodu, encore à découvrir, que créent le metteur en scène Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota et l’auteur Fabrice Melquiot, qui se connaissent très bien. Le premier a mis en scène cinq pièces du second, anciennement auteur associé à la Comédie de Reims, et aujourd’hui au théâtre de la Ville. Ces textes pétillants et inventifs, totalement amoureux des mots et écrits à partir du territoire de l’enfance, contre les peurs et contre le vide, montrent des êtres en devenir au cœur du monde. « Le texte de théâtre attend quelqu’un et il attend aussi des enfants, qui ne sont pas les spectateurs de demain, mais ceux d’aujourd’hui et maintenant. Le texte de théâtre aime les enfants, parce que les enfants aiment très vite jouer avec la vie, la mémoire et l’invention. » dit l’auteur.
