Hoptimum profite de l’été pour investir des espaces extérieurs, rendant aux arts urbains (graff, danse, BMX, musique…) leurs espaces de liberté. Deux sites distincts ont été choisis pour ce dernier week-end du mois de juin, et pas des moindres : l’un est un fleuron du patrimoine industriel de la Seine-et-Marne, l’autre est un lieu de vie, un lieu du quotidien symbole de nos banlieues ; tous deux concentrent les efforts en terme de rénovation urbaine pour une revalorisation de ce qui procède, chacun à leur façon, du patrimoine de la Seine-et-Marne. Ainsi, l’usine Schneider de Champagne-sur-Seine, surnommée « cathédrale industrielle », est un écrin tout trouvé pour une manifestation artistique, tandis que la Cité Gaston Tunc de Melun donne aux propositions urbaines une résonnance naturelle. Chacun accueille, de l’après-midi jusqu’au soir, de la danse, de graff, du rap, des démonstrations de BMX, et un « parkour » signé par les champions des acrobaties en milieu urbain, les Yamakasi.
