Orgue / Philharmonie
Réalisé par le facteur autrichien Riger Orgelbau, l’orgue de la Philharmonie s’inscrit dans la lignée des instruments conçus par Cavaillé-Coll au XIXème siècle. Confiée à Mathias Lecomte, aux côtés de Monika Wolinska et l’Orchestre Pasdeloup, la Symphonie n°3 de Saint-Saëns est un incontournable. Sous la direction de Catherine Simonpietri, l’ensemble Sequenza 9.3 et les choeurs amateurs de Paris et de Seine-Saint-Denis, accompagnés par Karol Wossakowski, invitent à la découverte du répertoire contemporain, avec deux commandes passées à Diana Soh et Noriko Baba. Enfin, le récital d’Olivier Latry, avocat de la première heure de la présence d’un orgue à la Philharmonie, est sans doute, avec la Symphonie n°5 et son emblématique Toccata finale de Widor, le point d’orgue d’un week-end qui se prolonge la semaine suivante avec un autre exemple magistral d’une écriture à l’ampleur symphonique, la Fantaisie et Fugue sur le choral Ad nos, ad salutarem undam de Liszt/Dupré, lors du concert de l’Orchestre national symphonique de Lettonie dirigé par Andris Poga.
