« Autour de la figure d’Astor Piazzolla, un état des lieux du tango aujourd’hui. » La baseline qui introduit cette programmation annonce la couleur. Pour commencer, le 20, un hommage à l’âme du créateur du nuevo tango par deux héritiers parmi tant : le pianiste Gerardo Jerez Le Cam et le bandonéoniste Juan José Mosalini. Le lendemain, la soirée s’intitule Club de tango, soit une immersion dans l’underground tanguero de Buenos Aires avec certaines des personnalités argentines qui font de longue date les belles nuits parisiennes. La chanteuse Sandra Rumolino, le percussionniste Minino Garay, le guitariste Rudi Flores, pour n’en citer que trois de ce concert qui est aussi un hommage au grand chanteur Osvaldo Peredo, initialement prévu dans ce programme et récemment disparu. Enfin, le dimanche, un concert en deux temps dans la Grande salle Pierre-Boulez : la jeune prodige Louise Jallu, qui a rendu en 2021 un très juste tribut à l’astre du tango, suivie par le Quinteto Astor Piazzolla, dont le nom suffit à présenter cet ensemble dédié à la musique du maestro.
