Le principe est très simple, mais il fallait y penser. D’un côté il y a les
danseurs, de l’autre des dizaines de morceaux issus d’un répertoire de chansons
populaires françaises, anglo-saxonnes, de musiques de films, de musiques
classiques ou tirées d’opéras. Au centre, il y a le menu, distribué à chaque
spectateur qui peut alors choisir qui danse quoi. Le grand challenge de
l’improvisation est très bien relevé par cette équipe de danseurs qui s’en donne
à c’ur joie, et à fond. Le public ne s’y trompe pas, et s’amuse des situations
grotesques tout comme des exploits de danse qui naissent sous ses yeux.
Lentement dirigé par l’équipe experte, le public avide de rengaines populo voire
kitsch s’en remet à des musiques plus pertinentes. Un décalage s’opère alors,
les danseurs se glissent dans la peau de personnages issus de l’univers de
Thomas Lebrun, et le spectacle peut continuer, dans cet écart.
