Théâtre de la Ville Les Abbesses / Chor. Amala Dianor
Il est connu pour sa danse hybride, qui mêle à l’énergie du hip hop et à ses racines africaines un vocabulaire contemporain élégant. Avec ce programme, Amala Dianor revient aux sources. D’abord en recréant son solo Man-Rec, véritable « manifeste intime du chorégraphe » dont le succès ne se dément pas, pour Nangaline Gomis, une jeune interprète à l’énergie pulsatile comme lui franco-sénégalaise. Puis en conviant à ses côtés pour Point Zéro deux complices de la première heure : Johanna Faye et Mathias Rassin. Dans cette rencontre au sommet, les trois danseurs hors pair éprouvent le chemin parcouru, confrontent leurs esthétiques et célèbrent leurs retrouvailles, dans une véritable ode à la danse. Quant à la partition musicale des deux pièces, elle est signée par le formidable Awir Leon, fidèle complice d’Amala Dianor mais aussi d’Emanuel Gat.
