SPECTACLE MUSICAL / THEATRE DU CHATELET
Après son escapade « latin groove » de Carmen la Cubana le mois dernier, la saison du Théâtre du Châtelet se referme avec wonder.land dans un tout autre climat, celui d’un opéra pop de Damon Albarn. Neuf ans après Monkey, Journey to the West, le compositeur pop-rock britannique, grande figure du pop-rock anglais pour ses groupes Blur puis Gorillaz, retrouve la scène parisienne pour signer un nouveau musical, inspiré des Aventures d’Alice au pays des merveilles et estampillé « 2.0 ». Une plongée dans le monde virtuel d’un jeu en réseau, wonder.land, dans lequel chacun peut se créer un avatar et devenir un autre. « Bienvenue à wonder.land, où vous pouvez être exactement qui vous voulez être » promet le jeu… La jeune adolescente Aly, personnage principal de l’ouvrage, va se précipiter dans cet univers sans limite pour y trouver un échappatoire à sa triste vie scolaire et personnelle, et devenir la belle et courageuse « Alice » qu’elle ne parvient pas à être dans la réalité… A partir de 10 ans.
