Il y a urgence à découvrir le talent de Yom, jeune surdoué français de la clarinette Klezmer, dont les horizons musicaux l’ont aussi amené du côté du jazz (au sein du New Lousadzak de Claude Tchamitchian) et de l’électro. On se souvient aussi de sa participation aux groupes Orient Express Moving Shnorers ou Klezmer Nova et de son duo avec le pianiste Denis Cuniot. Aventureux et conscient de l’héritage dont il est porteur – celui d’une musique festive et profonde d’un continent musical disparu -, Yom rend hommage lors de ce concert aux deux figures de son art qui l’ont le plus influencé : Naftule Brandwein, le pionnier américain qui enregistrait dès les années 20, et le grand Giora Feidman, légende vivante de la clarinette klezmer, présent à ses côtés sur scène. Il est pour cela à la tête de son remuant quartet composé de Denis Cuniot au piano, Benoît Giffard au tuba et Alexandre Giffard au tapan (grosse caisse). En première partie, le Trio Klezele (accordéon-clarinette-contrebasse).
