La vie et l’art se mêlent ici dans une performance qui unit deux frères, et se fonde sur leur histoire commune. Ados, Zachary et Gator Oberzan reconstituaient devant la caméra les scènes de leurs films fétiches. Kickboxer (1989), avec Jean-Claude Van Damme, ou encore Faces of Death (1980), film qu’on imagine totalement immonde et d’un intérêt artistique nul, compilant simplement une série de morts en direct, morts violentes pour la plupart, dont certaines réelles. Vingt ans après, Zachary est artiste, Gator est accro à la méthadone, et le premier demande au second s’il veut bien l’aider pour une performance. Sur le plateau, Zachary est seul, et son frère apparaît à l’écran. Remakes adolescents et remakes des remakes se télescopent, anecdotes et petites histoires traversent les grandes questions de la famille et de l’enfance.
