Théâtre Épiscène / de David Van Reybrouck / mes Joëlle Cattino
Dans le très hybride Zinc de l’auteur belge David Van Reybrouck, l’Allemande Maria Rixen trouve refuge dans un territoire minuscule coincé entre la Belgique, les Pays-Bas et l’Allemagne. Un patelin du nom de Moresnet où naît bientôt son fils Emil, un homme ordinaire qui changera cinq fois de nationalité sans jamais traverser la frontière. Fondée par Joëlle Cattino et Michel Bellier, qui signe l’adaptation du texte pour la scène, la compagnie Dynamo Théâtre s’empare de ce livre hybride qui fait écho à bien des situations européennes actuelles. À leur absurdité.
Un théâtre-récit de l’Europe
Ils optent pour une forme très simple. Pour une sorte de théâtre-récit, où Michel Bellier accompagné de Patrick Donnay et Paolo Cafiero disent à leur manière « le destin des petites gens ballotés par les vents tournants de l’Histoire ». Dans un théâtre qu’ils disent dans leur dossier « tissé de plusieurs histoire minuscules qui sont venues se cogner à la grande, l’officielle ». Ils se posent aussi de nombreuses questions, parmi lesquelles « Qu’est-ce qu’un pays ? », « Qu’est-ce qu’une nation ? ». Dans le tout petit Moresnet, ce sont les interrogations, les points sensibles de l’Europe qui s’invitent.
