Créé voici dix ans, le dispositif européen Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe a largement prouvé son bien-fondé : il soutient et stimule l’émergence de nouvelles formes et écritures, favorise la création et encourage les échanges entre des artistes de multiples pays. Les professionnels l’ont reconnu comme un précieux instrument de découverte, et de fait, le dispositif a constitué pour les artistes un formidable tremplin. Les jeunes compagnies sélectionnées bénéficient en effet d’une bourse, d’un programme de résidence de création, d’actions de tutorat et d’une présentation publique d’extraits destinée à les faire connaître au sein des réseaux de production et diffusion.
Des projets aboutis
Cette cinquième édition permet aussi au public francilien de découvrir le nouveau cirque d’art européen, à travers des projets aboutis, menés à bien par des artistes repérés lors des éditions antérieures et présentés dans trois lieux partenaires : l’Académie Fratellini, le Village de Cirque de 2r2c sur la Pelouse de Reuilly, et l’Atelier du Plateau. Spectacle inaugural, I, Mistress and Wife par la compagnie internationale Babafish, entrelaçant danse contemporaine, arts du cirque, musique et cinéma, conte l’histoire de trois femmes, ou plutôt celle de trois aspects contradictoires et complexes d’une seule et même femme. Près de dix spectacles originaux sont à découvrir, prouvant que la diversité n’empêche en rien le sentiment d’appartenance à une même communauté… artistique.
